The world's first VACUREMA® Inline Preform (XTREME Renew Flakes to Preform) system is in operation in Japan, CNN was on site to make a movie. The plant is a joint development of EREMA, SIPA, Kyoei Industry and Suntory and directly produces new, food-grade 100 percent rPET preforms from washed PET flakes in a single process step.

Thanks to the latest recycling technology, the proportion of recycled PET pellets in new bottles can now be as high as 100 percent. At the Circular Economy event "PET Recycling in Nigeria", EREMA recently provided information on technologies, guidelines and opportunities for PET recycling in Nigeria.

Flexible plastic packaging producer Amerplast, based in Finland, is investing in our INTAREMA® 1108 TE plastic recycling system, which will be installed at the company´s factory in Tampere. The machine will be operational in spring 2020. “We consider this investment to be an excellent addition to our production portfolio. It represents the latest technology and will further increase our material efficiency and broaden our recycled flexible packaging portfolio”, says Tuomo Riihimäki, Amerplast COO.
